beMobile 6 Degrees of Separation
Molaya Kgosi Trust hosts a
series of “live” interactive sessions aimed at exposing and mentoring young
women. The sessions provide available services and resources that could better
their lives and contribute to their personal & professional development
under a social responsibility project title 'beMOBILE Six Degrees of Separation'.
‘Six Degrees of Separation’ means that a very small number of people are linked to everyone else in a few steps, and the rest of us are linked to the world through those special few.”
There will be 6 networking sessions from April 2015 until September 2015 with a maximum of two speakers per theme; experts and persons with experience from whom the youth could learn from. The live sessions will be availed on Molaya kgosi podcast’s for delayed broadcast in the electronic media and on the growing BTCL social media platforms.
Sessions will cover the following topics:
• Business Etiquette (Power in a first impression)
• Legal Awareness
• Property & Property Investment
• Personal Branding & Marketing
• Financial Management
• Entrepreneurship & Innovation
The target group is professional and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-35 years (both male and female). It will also serve as an opportunity for like-minded individuals to meet & expand their network to explore discussed opportunities together. Networking is essential skills that need to be harnessed and these sessions will provide a platform for young people to engage, break out of their shells and become better networkers.
This is all made possible through the generous donation of beMobile and BTCL.
